PADI Rescue Diver

You’ll dive differently after completing the PADI Rescue Diver course — in the best way possible. This course challenges and empowers you to prevent and manage problems in the water, improve your self-rescue skills, and respond effectively to diver emergencies. Through realistic scenarios and skill-based exercises, you’ll learn how to recognize, react to, and even prevent dive-related issues. Divers often say this is their favorite and most rewarding PADI course. You’ll leave with greater confidence, stronger dive buddy relationships, and a mindset of proactive safety and awareness.

• Self-rescue techniques

• Recognizing and managing stress in other divers

• Emergency management and equipment use

• Rescuing panicked and unresponsive divers

• Realistic rescue scenarios and in-water problem solving

• PADI Adventure Diver certification (or qualifying certification)

• Completed Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive

• Valid CPR/First Aid training within the last 24 months (e.g. PADI EFR)

• Minimum age: 12 years

• Comfortable swimming ability and good health
